Airdale Primary School’s Walk for Autism

This May, Airdale Primary School is taking part in the "Walk for Autism" challenge to raise awareness and funds for autistic Australians. We are committing to walking 7,000 steps every day for a week in May, united by the goal of fostering an inclusive, autism-friendly world.

Each step we take brings us closer to supporting initiatives that aim to create understanding and acceptance for people on the autism spectrum. The funds we raise will directly contribute to programs and services that promote inclusion, provide support, and raise awareness about autism in communities across Australia.

As a school, we believe in celebrating differences, empowering others to be themselves and working together to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to excel. This challenge is not only about physical activity but also about building empathy and raising awareness. Our daily walks will be a powerful reminder that every small step counts toward making a big difference in the lives of autistic individuals.
