I'm walking for Max and Kennedy — and for every Autistic Aussie and their family

This May, our family is stepping up to Walk for Autism, taking 7,000 steps a day to raise funds and awareness for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) — because this cause is close to our hearts.

Both Max and Kennedy are Autistic. Every day, we see the world through their eyes — full of energy, curiosity, and a kind of brilliance that doesn’t always fit into the boxes the world expects. But it should. Because when Autistic kids like ours are supported, understood, and celebrated for exactly who they are, they thrive.

Right now, 70% of Autistic Australians experience mental health challenges — not because of autism, but because the world isn’t always built to include them. That’s why we’re walking — for earlier diagnoses, inclusive education, better support, and a future where difference is embraced, not just accepted.

If you’re in a position to help, we’d be so grateful for your support. Every step we take — and every dollar you give — helps create a world that’s a little more autism-friendly for kids like Max and Kennedy.

Thanks for being part of our village 💛
