We're walking 10000 steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

We’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support as we walk our own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues.

That's why we’re walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support us?

Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life.

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

As I’m sure most people know, I am Tegan, Jacks mum, and I have been, as many other parents and carers, advocating for Jack with his Autism. While he has faced horrible hurdles in his short life such as being told, like every other child, there’s nothing different about you, just get on with it to then be treated differently and shunned by a lot of the community. He has been stared at in shopping centres and has had children run away from him at the park because he speaks differently. Jack has become a strong, intelligent determined young man and Jack has decided to take part in the fundraiser this year as he believes he can step up to speak up about how he wants to be accepted, understood and respected.  Jack is a bit of a runner so I’m going to struggle keeping up with him but here we go!!!

Please support our Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!

Thank you for your brilliant donation
