I'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

Having an autism diagnosis isn’t an individuals whole identity. It’s a special little part of them that makes them unique. However, the challenges that Autism presents to individuals and their families cannot be understated.

For these individuals and their families things that seem small, easy or a common occurrence in daily life to neurotypically functioning individuals can be debilitating.

To allow these individuals to feel comfortable in an external environment and feel safe to experience life change needs to happen in society, in regulations and in all systems.

I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support as I walk my own brilliant way for Autistic Australians and their families!

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues.

That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life. No matter how little, it means a lot.

Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

With love,

The Auld Family
