I'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism to raise awareness, not just for the broader community but also for my own son, Xander, and the daily struggles he faces. Like many children on the autism spectrum, Xander faces challenges navigating a world and a curriculum that aren’t designed with his needs in mind. Too often, there’s a lack of proper training for teachers and educators to support children who struggle with the “normal” routines and expectations in schools and early childhood settings.
Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues. That’s why I’m walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia). Can you please support me?
Your donation will help deliver services that empower Autistic individuals to live their best lives. Funds raised will support earlier diagnoses, autism-specific schooling for children, vital research, and the creation of more inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Every step I take is for Xander, for all Autistic Australians, and for the families who face these challenges every day. Thank you so much for your support!
