Hey everyone! I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism. Please show your support 💛

Did you know? Because the world is not autism-friendly, 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues. Yep… that’s me 🙋‍♀️. I have been diagnosed with many different disorders since I was 15; but some actually were misdiagnosis when it was autism all along! I got diagnosed with autism in 2023 and it was a life changing diagnosis and actually helped lead me onto going on the right medication for my mental health which can also be used for ASD and literally changed my life. This medication has kept me out of hospital and significantly improved my day to day life. 

This is just a tiny part of how an asd diagnosis can help change someone’s life… it’s actually a very long and complex thing to explain and something I’m passionate about, it can change so many aspects of one’s life especially if you get an early diagnosis in childhood. 

That's why I'm walking 7k steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).  This will challenge me as im not so fond of walking but mostly because I am recovering from a severely broken foot. This 7k daily challenge will push me and I believe it’s the perfect cause! Can you please support me?
