I'm walking 10k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians like my little Bonnie girl!
I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism – not just for the cause, but for my beautiful daughter Bonnie. I’m walking to raise awareness, to stand beside her, and to help build a world that better understands and supports Autistic people.
Because our world isn’t built with Autistic people in mind, 70% of Autistic Australians experience mental health challenges. That’s not okay, let's be real - the world is hard enough without any additional challenges.... and that’s why I’m walking 10,000 steps a day this May to raise funds for Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect). It's not a lot but it's something this busy mum can do to show my support to Bonbon and others living with Autism.
I want Bonnie, and every Autistic person, to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. The funds raised will go towards early diagnosis, autism-specific schooling, research, and creating inclusive, autism-friendly communities. How bloody wonderful is that?!
If you can, please donate — your support means the world to us. And if you’d like to join me, I’d love the company. Let’s walk for Bonnie, and for every Autistic person who deserves to live their best life!
Thanks so much!!! x
