The Autism Iceberg

The iceberg theory of autism suggests that the outwardly visible traits we see on the surface is just the tip of the iceberg. There is a wider range of difficult-to-observe neurodivergent traits that lies below the surface.
Recognising the whole picture is the key to understand autistic people and to be able to provide the support they truly need.
Different targets, same purpose
Feeling a bit ambitious! I'm using last year's results as base for my targets this year 😃🙈2025 steps target: 217,000
2025 donations target: $1,000
My purpose for joining the walk remains the same. Firstly, to raise funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) so that they can continue to help and support Autistic people like Selwyn and Angelo to live their best lives. I would also like to raise awareness and understanding of autism because this is a condition that not many people know about, and to me that is even more important than raising funds.
I will try my level best to meet these targets and I know all of you will support me. Together we can help create a world that is autism-friendly ❤️
I’m back for my 2nd year!

2024 steps target: 98,000. Final count: 221,510
2024 donations target: $250. Total raised: $1,092
With this spectacular result I qualified to be part of the Walk of Fame VIP Club and this is all thanks to everyone who supported me in this journey. I couldn't have done it without all of you!
It is such a great cause that is very close to my heart and despite some setback with my health last year I enjoyed doing the walk! The amount of support I received from family, friends and work colleagues is overwhelming and I hope you will support me once again on my 2nd year of Walk for Autism.
