I'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians
This year I’m stepping up to Walk for Autism for the first time.
As someone who identifies as Autistic, it sadly doesn’t surprise me that 70% of Autistic people in Australia experience mental health issues.
That's why I'm walking 7,000 steps a day in May to fundraise for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia), to raise awareness of how we can make the world more inclusive for everyone, and neuroaffirming for people of all neurotypes.
Your donation will help deliver services that support Autistic people to live their best life. I was lucky enough to know about this part of my identity from a young age, and receive support from my family. I was empowered me to thrive, but I know that is not the case for everyone on the autism spectrum.
Funds raised can help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide autism-specific schooling for children on the autism spectrum, support research and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments.
Please support my Walk for Autism and donate now. Thank you so much!
