I'm walking 7k steps a day this May to support Autistic Australians

I’m Walking for Autism – Because Awareness & Understanding Matter!

As a mum to an incredible autistic son with ADHD, I see firsthand the challenges that come with navigating a world that isn’t always built for neurodivergent minds. Too often, autistic individuals face misunderstanding, lack of support, and barriers that impact their mental health, education, and daily life.

That’s why I’m taking part in Walk for Autism—walking 7,000 steps a day in May to raise awareness and funds for Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).

Why does this matter?

Because 70% of Autistic Australians experience mental health struggles, and we need to do better. The funds raised will go towards:

✅ Early diagnosis and support for autistic individuals and their families

✅ Autism-specific schooling to create better learning environments

✅ Research and education to help create a more inclusive world

If you’d like to support me and this important cause, a donation—big or small—would mean the world. Together, we can help build a future where autistic people are understood, supported, and celebrated for who they are.

Thank you so much for your support!
