My daily 10k step May challenge pledge for Autism awareness.

Hey, how's it going? My name is Trae, and I'm a local Victorian who loves hiking and being around nature, both land and sea.
I was diagnosed with Autism at a young age and I have had first hand experience of what its like to grow up with the stigmas, challenges, and hardships that come with it.
I also have first hand experience of why I love having Autism, the undying love and passion for special interests and creative works, the different way I see the world compared to the norm, the attention to detail and organization.
Autism is my identity, it's what defines my very being and existence.
But you see, that's just one individuals experience, my own. The truth is Autism is a spectrum, and everyone's experience and personalities are different no matter where you sit on it. And unfortunately despite the huge spike of knowledge and awareness Autism has gained in the past few decades, it is still heavily misunderstood and still attacked.
This year I have dubbed as my "Yes Year", where I've been doing all kinds of things I haven't done before. I've started some personal projects, started activism, training at local beaches to get confident in diving, putting together a crazy holiday to go shark cage diving with great whites later this year, throwing myself into mosh pits and engaging with the community in a whole new level.
And I saw this advertised on my social media and thought "7k? Make that 10k steps!".
That's right my friends, during the month of May, I won't only walk 7000 steps to raise awareness for Autism, I will be walking 10000 steps every day!!!
I hope this might inspire a few people. Carry on fellow humans, you've got this!
If you wanted to chip in a small donation than that's awesome! The money goes towards the aid for people with Autism to live their best lives! So your coffee money will be doing something amazing!
Thank you for reading you amazing human! May your dreams come true this year! Rock on folks!
